If Jenifer or Nolwenn Leroy managed to stay the course despite the pressure when they left Star Academy, Jill Vandermeulen, she went through a very dark period after participating in the fifth season of the famous tele-hook.
It was in an interview with Jeremstar, for his Baby Story channel, that the now successful youtuber decided to reveal behind the scenes.
“I experienced all this very badly, I had a very complicated return to my family, I could not go back to school. I was told: ‘If you come to this school, we’ll kill you at the playground.’ Then, I find myself on a bus to go home to my house. I have girls at the back of the bus, a small group of scum like that. I hear say: ‘Ah, it’s the girl of the Star Ac, come on, let’s point it'”, she recalled. And to continue: “I went through very violent stages, psychologically speaking with a suicide attempt because I was just exhausted, exhausted, exhausted from what I was going through.“
The main interested party will then do the worst. “I told myself that my potential career is ruined. It ruined my life. People hate me.
