The investigation continues. An eighth suspect was placed in pre-trial detention by a court in the Russian capital, as part of research into the attack which left at least 139 dead on Friday in the suburbs of Moscow, the court announced on Telegram, Tuesday March 26 .
“A Moscow court has arrested another participant in the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack”, announced the judicial authorities, without detailing what this individual is accused of. According to them, he is from Kyrgyzstan, a country in Central Asia. According to the Interfax agency, he is 31 years old and has Russian nationality.
The four men suspected of carrying out the attack were arrested on Saturday and face a life sentence in prison.. On Monday, three other people were remanded in custody. This detention, set until May 22, may be extended pending their trial, the date of which has not yet been set.
