Two Lamborghinis, scooters and luxury leather goods. An exceptional auction was held on Tuesday, April 25, in the former Paris courthouse with nearly 300 goods seized by the institution in drug trafficking cases. Bids are racing for watches and who cares if they belonged to traffickers. Pierre, who lives in Dubai, has just won his Rolex for 13,000 euros. “This one was for me because it’s exactly the model I wanted with a blue dialexplains Pierre. It goes up very quickly because there are a lot of requests. When you go to the store there is sometimes a wait of up to three years. So much the better that it is sold by the narcotics to the public.”

Samuel also dreamed of a Rolex – too expensive – so he tries to find the shoe that suits him: “The pretty pair of high tops is in 42, they are Louis Vuitton”, describes this Parisian, passionate about luxury. Those eyes shine in front of all those big brand bags and jackets. “I think it’s not so bad that we get the money back because, it’s a secret for no one, money laundering, especially from drug trafficking, is often done in the purchase of luxury productsexplains Samuel. This allows you to recover some of it.”

“There is also an ecological aspect since at least this allows products to be recycled rather than going to be burned as in a certain era when we could destroy the merchandise resulting from drug trafficking.”

This is a good idea, abound Espérance and Patrick. These two retired friends, curious, however, have some limits. “I won’t put my feet in a drug dealer’s shoes but the rest yesadmits Patrick. I think it’s a good initiative. And then, it is also perhaps a deterrent example for those who continue to deal and who can tell themselves that tomorrow they will find themselves naked. “What interests me is above all that the money can be donated for aid”greets Espérance on his side.
