an argument gone wrong

The investigation will have been rapid after the discovery on Saturday October 22 of a body in the town of Chatenay, in Isère. This Monday 4 people were presented to a Grenoble investigating judge and were indicted, announces the Grenoble prosecutor’s office. The victim is a 28-year-old resident of the neighboring town of Saint-Siméon-de-Bressieux. A man already known to justice, in particular for domestic violence. The gendarmes quickly found at his home, and arrested, his 32-year-old girlfriend, a 21-year-old friend of the latter and two other men aged 33 and 35.

An argument over alcohol and narcotics

Placed in police custody, they explained that they were gathered at the victim’s home on the night of Friday to Saturday, consuming alcohol and drugs, when an argument broke out between the 28-year-old man and his little girl. -friend, as well as with two other protagonists and that there was an exchange of blows. The two men aged 33 and 35 would then have left the scene, when a new argument broke out between the victim and his companion. The 21-year-old would then have intervened to separate them by strangling the victim. Noting that he was dead, they then decided to abandon the body where it was found in the town of Chatenay.

This death and the story that is made of it will now be the subject of an investigation. The 21-year-old is indicted for “murder” and was placed in pre-trial detention, specifies the parquet floor of Grenoble. The girlfriend was indicted for “concealment of corpse and non-impediment of crime” and was placed under judicial supervision. Just like the last two protagonists who have been indicted for “willful violence in a meeting without incapacity”.
