Englishman Charlie Winston’s new album is available ! Settled in France since 2009 and the success of his ”Like a Hobo”, Charlie had the good idea to work with Vianney on this 5th disc, collaboration validated!
This week we heard about Jimmy Cliff, 78Jamaican music legend, expert in slow that kills with “Many rivers to cross” for example but also in hopping pop.
Jimmy Cliff, at the top since the end of the 60s, and retired for about ten years, is nonetheless sensitive to the fate of his contemporaries and this is not the case for everyone… He therefore decided todraw attention to the dramatic situation of those who are forced to leave their country, the refugees. It’s the name of the album ”Refugees”.
Accompanied in this project by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Jimmy Cliff specifies “I wrote the song because of the emotions that I experience in the face of this freedom that is taken away from human beings. None of us should be forced to leave our country, whether by violence, economic factors, war or persecution”.

Finally Serge Lama announced his retirement… After 59 years of career and 23 records, his new album “Aimer”’ will be the last. It is not desire that is lacking in this pillar of variety, but rather health. We therefore wish him rest and joy!
