An album and a tour for Shania Twain

Shania Twain fans have something to celebrate…from now on! The Canadian country superstar will release an album in February, before embarking on a world tour in April.

Expected February 3, Queen of Me will be her sixth album of original songs and her first release since nowin 2017.

The world tour of the same name will begin at the end of April in Spokane, Washington, and will pass by the Videotron Center in Quebec City on June 17 and the Bell Center in Montreal the following day. A stop is also planned at the Ottawa Bluesfest on July 6, among many other stops in Canada.

When sharing the news on his Facebook page, the 57-year-old artist said he felt good about himself, a feeling that his album expresses in music. “Life is short and I want to be uplifted, colorful, unassuming and powerful. I want to send a clear message, especially as a woman, to remind me of the power I have. I hope my songs will remind you of the power you have too! she wrote.

This announcement follows his residency in Las Vegas, Let’s Go!which concluded last month, a few weeks before she released a new extract, Waking Up Dreaming.





Earlier this year, Twain dove into her personal story for the purposes of a Netflix documentary, Not Just a Girl.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale November 4.
