It was around 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday July 12 when an aircraft made an emergency landing in a wheat field in Niort. It was at street level from the new house in the Cholette district, five meters from the Sèvre Niortaise. The two occupants were able to exit the aircraft on their own and were not injured. 27 firefighters were mobilized. They did not observe any risk of fire or pollution.
