A fire broke out in an agricultural building in the town of Grand-Serre (Drôme) at a place called Engogne around 10 p.m. this Saturday, September 24, 2022. The fire did great damage, it destroyed the building. About thirty firefighters were mobilized in particular to prevent the spread of fire to the dwelling house located nearby. Three water lances were deployed. The two occupants of the house were relocated with relatives. The roof and insulation of their house were affected by the flames.
This morning at 7 o’clock the fire was not extinguished. Firefighters are still on site and are carrying out a active monitoring of the site.
