They were protesting against the job protection plan (PSE) of Compin which provides for the dismissal of 55 people. Part of the production must also be relocated to Spanish or Polish sites.
“We have obtained an agreement on the method and that the negotiation of the safeguard plan be extended for fifteen days“, says one of the striking employees. “Two-thirds of the strike days will also be paid and no striker will be sanctioned.”
