An agreement has apparently finally been reached between Nîmes Olympique and the Gladiators, according to France Bleu Gard Lozère. The club’s management had been in conflict for many months with the supporters’ club. During the last home game, this conflict was again materialized by a ban on entry to the Costières to the Gladiators who came with their tarpaulins, while these same supporters had accepted the idea of returning to the stadium elsewhere than in their historic stand. .
The club formalizes it in stride. The Nîmes Olympique speaks of a return to the “sacred union”.
Nîmes Olympique hosts Paris FC this weekend. The Gladiators should therefore finally be in the game again; important too: they will thus be able to say farewell with dignity to the Costières in a few weeks, since the stadium will soon be completely destroyed before giving way to a completely new enclosure.
The Gladiators explain that the East weighbridge will be open again, but a priori only for the reception of Amiens on October 15, not this weekend against Paris FC. The club also allows them to return to the stadium with all of the association’s equipment: tarpaulin, flags and drums.
