New twist in the tumultuous season of Olympique Lyonnais. While the DNCG (National Directorate of Management Control) authorized OL, on December 5, to recruit during the transfer window in January, the club’s management announced, Monday, December 11, having signed an agreement for the repurchase of shares of the former president of the club, Jean-Michel Aulas, and the abandonment of all the complaints which oppose him to his successor since May 2023, the American John Textor.

The agreement, approved by a board of directors, provides for the repurchase “one third of the shares” still owned in the club by the Aulas family holding company, Holnest, and “the withdrawal of ongoing procedures and actions between Holnest, Mr. Jean-Michel Aulas and OL Groupe”according to a press release.
