Last December, a huge scandal came to tarnish the filming of NCIS: Los Angeles. This American television series was created by Shane Brennan, and is a spinoff of NCIS: Special Investigations. It has been broadcast since September 22, 2009 on the CBS network in the United States in France since March 12, 2010 on M6. It tells the story of the agents of the NCIS Los Angeles Office of Special Projects. But a few months ago, his image was tarnished by the arrest of one of his extra actors.
Brandt Osborn, 42, is accused along with other men of being responsible for the deaths of two people. These two women were found outside two different hospitals in November. One, Christy Giles, model and Instagram star, was already dead at the time of the discovery and the other, Hilda Marcela Cabrales, her friend, was unconscious and then succumbed after eleven days in a coma.
According to the autopsy, the women had died of overdose of several drugs and the police had concluded a homicide. A few days later, three men, including Brandt Osborn, were therefore arrested by the Los Angeles police, accused of being linked to these two deaths. Charged pending a thorough investigation, two men were finally indicted. According to the Los Angeles Times, it would therefore be Brandt Osborn and David Pearce, director and roommate of the actor appearing in NCIS.
Surveillance cameras reportedly showed David Pearce carrying the body of Christy Giles before driving her and Brandt Osborn to medical staff at a hospital claiming to have found her passed out on the sidewalk. The two men then reportedly returned to the apartment, loaded Hilda Cabrales’ body into their car and took her to another hospital where she was later found.
