Swafford turned in a 64 (-8) and finished the tournament with a -23 aggregate score on the Stadium course.

Tied at the top with Brian Harman and Francesco Molinari, Swafford put his ball just eight feet from the hole on the 16thand pennant, a par-5.

Swafford then netted a birdie at 17and hole before ending his day with a par. He edged Tom Hoge (68) by two strokes to earn a third career PGA Tour title.

Hoge missed a great opportunity to get a first PGA title, at his 201and career start. He scored five birdies and a bogey.

Lee Hodges and Paul Barjon shared the top rung after 54 holes, but they couldn’t keep up the pace.

Hodges played 70 and finished the tournament tied for third with Harman (64) and Lanto Griffin (67). Barjon signed a card of 73 and he tumbled to 10and rank, six strokes behind the winner.

With a cumulative score of -14, Roger Sloan was the tournament’s highest-ranked Canadian in 14and position. His compatriots Adam Hadwin (25and), Nick Taylor (33and), Adam Svensson (49and) and Michael Gligic (55and) were also taking part in the weekend rounds.
