American actor Ray Liotta, star of the mythical film about the mafia Freedmen (The Goodfellas), died at the age of 67, several American media announced on Thursday.
He died in his sleep, specifies the TMZ site, citing a source close to Ray Liotta.
Deadline also reported the actor’s death while filming in the Dominican Republic.
In addition to his mafia role in Freedmen in 1990, Ray Liotta was known to American audiences for starring in the baseball movie Until the end of the dream in 1989.
He first came to prominence on screen in 1986 with Dangerous in all respectswhich earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
