Friday, June 24, the Supreme Court brought down the right to abortion, a right acquired 50 years earlier. America is more than ever divided, with the key to emotion, immediate closures of clinics and first clashes.

In a clinic in Missouri (United States), employees are in tears following the Supreme Court’s decision on Friday, June 24. The state’s last abortion clinic has closed. A very emotional Missouri Democratic Congresswoman Cory Bush expressed her anger. “49 years… And they took it all away. 36 million people will be affected”she said.

Throughout the country, two worlds clash: on the one hand, pro-abortion activists in shock, and facing them, others exult. Seven States immediately banned abortion following the Supreme Court ruling, and a total of thirteen are expected to do so in the coming days. The State of California offered to fund the trip for women wishing to have an abortion. “California is a safe place for anyone seeking an abortion. It always will be”said state attorney general Rob Bonta.
