The former great champion was able to celebrate the birthday of her eldest, Aaron and show once again how well she manages to juggle her professional life and her family life. However, the former tennis star, winner of two Grand Slam tournaments in his career, has managed a fairly incredible conversion. After having coached the best players on the planet, starting with Andy Murray, she knew how to seize the opportunities to occupy one of the most prestigious positions in her sport today.
Indeed, Amélie Mauresmo took over from Guy Forget as director of the Roland-Garros tournament and this year, she experienced a perfectly successful baptism of fire, culminating in the new coronation of legend Rafael Nadal. After this beautiful moment, she was able to take time and find her family at home. Mother of two children, she recently confided in her way of educating them: “I spend a lot of time with the children, I like to share a lot of things with them. I think I’m nice but I like having a framework (…) I’m not super strict but they know what which is close to our hearts”.
