Amel Bent terrified almost without knowing why
“BASIC but not simple…”, she writes at first, in a long post in which she recounted the hell she went through. Indeed, the 37-year-old artist confessed: “Ishow terrifies me… A sleepless night before the concert… Endless tears until 5 minutes before the shoot…”. A fear that the main interested party did not understand herself: “really too weird this panic”. After nineteen years of career and “hundreds of TV and concerts”, “Basic” yet made him lose his means.
And Amel Bent seems to have found the reason for this complicated moment. “When I take the microphone on TV, I invite myself into people’s homes in a way, without necessarily asking them their opinion”she notes before explaining: “In concert, it is people who invite me to share a moment with them, by taking a ticket to see my show. Often on TV I no longer know for what or for whom I sing and especially who wants to m hear and it destabilizes me more and more, I admit“. In the end, Vitaa’s friend managed to come to her senses a few seconds before taking the microphone and for her, “vse BASIQUE is a personal victory” but also “a good lesson”.
