The girl and boy who were allegedly kidnapped in the municipality of Saint-Vallier were located safe and sound. Their disappearance triggered an AMBER alert on Monday.
The 2 and 3-year-old children had been kidnapped by Keven Gourgues, a 40-year-old man, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said in the afternoon.
The event would have occurred Monday morning around 9:28 a.m.
