The Amber alert launched in Quebec on Saturday around 6 p.m. to help find an eight-year-old girl, kidnapped by her mother in Châteauguay, Montérégie, is over.
“It is in relation to a mother who left with her child, and we fear for the child,” had confirmed Hélène Saint-Pierre of the Sûreté du Québec.
The child had been abducted on Saturday at 3 p.m., specifies the Sûreté du Québec. The AMBER alert, launched around 6 p.m., was lifted about twenty minutes later.
