(Brossard) An AMBER alert was triggered early Tuesday to try to find a five-year-old child who was allegedly abducted Monday evening in Brossard, in Montérégie.
According to the alert broadcast in the media and sent as a notification on cell phones, Getty Shi Gao, aged 5, was abducted in Brossard by Ruixue Yang, aged 65, around 6 p.m. Monday evening.

The boy, who has brown eyes, is 1.07 metres (3 feet 6 inches) tall and weighs 19 kilograms (40 pounds). He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt.
Also wanted is a white 2024 Tesla Model 3. The car is registered in Ontario and bears the plate GVMK 5 3 6.

Few details are available about the circumstances of the abduction, but witnesses reportedly saw the suspect leaving with the child early Monday evening and alerted emergency services.
The suspect is believed to have a direct link to the child, but the nature of that link has not been specified.
The police are not ruling out any possibilities regarding the whereabouts of the child and the suspect.
Police are asking anyone with information about the kidnapping or vehicle to not approach the suspect and to call 911.
