Little Zeynab Cherrabbi El Alaoui, aged one, was kidnapped in the Lachine sector, in Montreal, by her 19-year-old mother, Miryanna Monterrosa, the Montreal Police Department announced on Tuesday. The latter triggered an Amber Alert around 1:30 p.m. to find them.
Law enforcement is asking the public to call 911 if they see these two people. The child has been missing since this morning, around 9:25 a.m., from the Louis Basile Pigeon terrace area. She is wearing a pale pink onesie with a pink and white unicorn pattern on it.
His mother, M.me Monterrosa, has a scar on the left corner of his upper lip as well as on his forehead, also on the left. She is 160 cm (5 feet 3 inches) tall and weighs 54 kg (120 lbs).
“We do not have a vehicle in this case,” said the spokesperson for the City of Montreal Police Department, Jean-Pierre Brabant.
