Police in Windsor, Ontario, resumed their operation on Sunday to dislodge anti-sanitary measures protesters who have been blocking the Ambassador Bridge since Monday, a key border axis between Canada and the United States.
Police said in a tweet that they had started arresting protesters and towing vehicles.
The operation had started on Saturday morning and the police, moving slowly, had pushed back the protesters and cleared a major intersection, but not all the protesters had been evacuated and traffic on the bridge had not been restored.
