Amagney in the Doubs has its two 2022 champions of spitting mirabelle plums

On your marks, get set, spit! It was the return of an original competition in Amagney in the Doubs this Sunday August 28, near Besançon. After two years of health crisis, the famous pit-spitting challenge was organized on the occasion of the Mirabelle plum festival. Objective, reach the longest distance on a large black tarp, in front of an audience of around 100 people.

20 participants registered in the adult category and 12 in the children’s category. Alexandre becomes the 2022 nucleus-spitting champion, with 10 meters 50without breaking the last record of 11 meters 55, which dates from 2019. Alice, 16, retains her youth title with a distance of 7 meters 50.
