Altrad official sponsor of the Women’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand

The Altrad group, world leader in services to industry and construction equipment, today becomes the new official sponsor of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2021which will take place in 2022. The tournament, contested by the 12 best women’s teams in the world, will be organized in New Zealand in October and November 2022.

“This announcement, the day after International Women’s Day, aims to highlight not only Altrad’s passion for rugby, but, more importantly, the group’s desire to promote female excellence and to encourage equality and inclusion in our societies.” explains the group in a press release.

This new partnership complements and strengthens Altrad’s presence in international Rugby. The group acts as Major Global Partner of New Zealand Rugby (including the Black Ferns women’s team), as Major Partner of the French Rugby Federation, as Principal Partner of the Western Force team in Australia, and as owner of French Top 14 club Montpellier Herault Rugby (MHR).
