A man was seriously injured after being intentionally hit by a pickup truck on Saturday evening in Montreal North.
Around 10:40 p.m., a call was made to 911 for a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of Lausanne Avenue and Prieur Street in Montreal North.
The victim, a 43-year-old man, was conscious when police arrived, said SPVM spokeswoman Caroline Chevrefils. Injured in the upper body, he was transported to a hospital center but his life would not be in danger.
The 28-year-old driver of the vehicle was at the scene and was not injured. He would have voluntarily struck the quarantine with his van after a conflict broke out between the two men.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and taken to an investigation center and an investigation is ongoing.
