The Alsatian writer and playwright René-Nicolas Ehni died on the night of Saturday June 18 at the age of 87.
Born in 1935 in Eschentzwiller (Haut-Rhin) near Mulhouse, he became known in the 1960s with his first novel The Glory of the Rascal.
The Alsatian writer then written a lot for the theaterincluding a play in Alsatian performed by the Alsatian Theater of Mulhouse in 1972 according to the Federation of Historical and Archeological Societies of Alsace.
He then moved to Crete with his family.
