already more spectators than in the previous edition

Spectators are back at the Sarlat film festival. After a lackluster edition in 2021 with 4,000 tickets sold for the various screenings, the managers of Rex, the cinema hosting the festival, announce that they have already sold more than 5,100 tickets. And the 31st edition is not over. The number of tickets sold could approach 6,000 according to the managers.

For Arnaud Vialle, manager of the Rex, this confirms that it is the event that makes the exit “today, we see it, the spectators come when the teams travel and come to meet the public”. Movie theaters have not returned to their “usual” attendance since the health crisis. At the beginning of October, attendance reached a critical level, the lowest level since the reopening of theaters in May 2021.
