Already a first point for Lane Hutson

It wasn’t long before Lane Hutson made his mark in the National Hockey League.

In his second presence on the ice, the Montreal Canadiens defender obtained an assist on Brendan Gallagher’s goal. This opened the scoring of the duel against the Red Wings in Detroit.

The 20-year-old American joined the Habs last Friday, after signing his entry contract in the Bettman circuit. Hutson was selected by the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge in the second round (62e in total) of the 2022 draft. Before making the jump to the pros, he collected 15 goals and 34 assists for 49 points in 38 games playing for Boston University.
