(Flachau) Slovakian Petra Vlhova, an Olympic champion, overpowered Mikaela Shiffrin in the World Cup slalom in Flachau (Austria) on Tuesday night, preventing the American from landing an 83e unparalleled victory in women’s skiing.
Vlhova offered its first victory of the season with 43 hundredths of a second ahead of Shiffrin and 85/100e on the German Lena Dürr.
