Almond trees reintroduced in Drôme Provençale

Live from “La Bergerie des Amandiers” in Malataverne.

La Bergerie des Amandiers is a guest house, it is located in the heart of a field of almond trees, in the village of Malataverne, between vineyards, lavender and peach trees, a few kilometers from Montélimar.

Besides the pleasure of discovering this exceptional place, we obviously talked about cooking, but also, since they are in bloom, we mentioned the almond. Because the almond tree is being reintroduced in the region.

With our hosts: Myriam and Bertrand Lhote, Almond farmer Hervé Lauzier and Maxime, the pastry chef of the Domaine du Colombier at the table of starred chef Jean-Michel Bardet, in Malataverne.

Les Toqués, live from “La Bergerie des Amandiers” in Malatavenre, program that you can listen to HERE.
