Allison Micallef, a sensitive photographer from the Landes

As each photo is unique, each one arrives at its place by a thousand different paths. Allison Micallef, had a pastry training, did a lot of odd jobs, but a passion remained present, that of taking images with her different devices.
She started photography almost 10 years ago. The photo has always made him dream without ever daring to take the plunge. And then she promises herself that if she gets her driver’s license, she will afford her first device.
With her license in hand, she began to take landscapes and gradually improved her technique. His photos are starting to get noticed.
But it was after the birth of her daughter that she took the plunge to set up on her own. She wants to offer all parents the pleasure of keeping memories of their children’s early years.
She therefore specialized in photography of pregnancy, marriage, birth, as well as all other family reunions, such as baptisms and birthdays.

A very complete photographer

In another register, her training as a pastry chef has meant that she also works with professionals, particularly in the culinary arts, which is another aspect of her activity.
A nice photo is a precise technique. Speed, framing, depth of field, brightness, iso,… which are all parameters to master. There is also the eye of the photographer and his artistic sense. Setting up a scene, whether in the studio or outdoors, is also an important point.
The photographer makes sure that the session takes place in a natural way, to have an exceptional memory. It’s also a special activity to do with the family, a great moment of sharing.
All of this is what Allison Micallef has in mind every time someone walks through her door.
