Secrets concerning the salary of candidates, the price of wedding outfits as well as those of wedding rings.
“Women can choose a dress between 1500 and 2500 euros. Men between 710 and 910 euros”, revealed Cyril Hanouna who believes that it is a very good budget. What about the price of the wedding? “In France, the average price of a wedding is 12,000 euros and that of Married at First Sight, we would be around 18,000 euros”. An amount much less than the million francs (180,000 euros) of the marriage of Benjamin Castaldi and Flavie Flament. “The price of alliances: the production offers a selection to the candidates. They choose what they want. The price varies between 350 euros to 1225 euros”.
Last secret concerns the salary of the candidates. “They are paid. If the weddings are sent to the antenna in four minutes, you should know that in real life, it is very long. An hour and thirty minutes on average so that all the plans can be recorded. The time filming is paid 80 euros per day. They work 16 days spread over six months. They receive 1280 euros, apart from what they receive in kind”.
And finally last element!
“A marriage contract is signed. As it is risky to marry a stranger, the candidates go to the notary on the morning of the ceremony to sign a separation of property contract”.
