“All the progress obtained by the Senate, which made it possible to toughen immigration policy, has disappeared”regretted Friday December 1 on franceinfo Thomas Ménage, spokesperson for the RN group in the National Assembly, deputy for Loiret, while the immigration bill is being examined by the Law Commission at the National Assembly.

“An alliance between the extreme left, La France insoumise and Renaissance, made it possible to eliminate almost all of the advances obtained by the senatorial right and above all to definitively reinstall the article which will carry out a massive regularization of illegal workers in our country. We see once again that the government is failing to meet the expectations of the French.”

Thomas Ménage is not in favor of the regularization of undocumented immigrants in sectors under pressure. “It’s about regularizing people in an irregular situation in our country. Last year, nearly 500,000 legal foreigners entered our country, there are between 600,000 and 900,000 illegal immigrants, the French are waiting to firmness, so we cannot accept the establishment of a new immigration channel.”
