He will swap his blouse to put on the customs uniform, or rather abandon the famous hospital “H” to settle in an airport. Indeed, at the start of the 2023 school year, Jamel Debbouze will return to Canal + with a brand new sitcom, as announced by the encrypted channel during its Summer Party, an event during which the group unveils the new items for the start of the school year.
Twenty-five years after the success of “H”, the companion of Mélissa Theuriau wishes to return to the past, or at least to draw inspiration from it. Indeed, the 48-year-old actor wants to find the codes that made the success of the sitcom of the 1990s, as he announced to the press. For this new project, finished the hospital, place at the airport, more precisely that of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, with a somewhat atypical customs officer. “It takes place in an airport, with extraordinary actors… All I can tell you is that we’re going to laugh!”, promised the comedian in front of the press this Monday, June 26.

But don’t count on him to say more. Indeed, the one who supervises the work of the Badii Palace in Marrakech for the return of Marrakech of Laughter intends to keep his project secret as much as possible. Jamel Debbouze is content simply to promise a universe very similar to that of “H” : “We’re coming back with a genre that I love.”
But who will accompany him on this adventure? That’s the question fans are asking. Especially since the artist who shouted his love for France has not revealed any name for the moment. While many hope for the participation of Ramzy Bedia and Éric Judor, Jamel Debbouze simply promises a “extraordinary cast” which will be complemented by a guest each episode. We will have to wait until October 2023 to find out more about the final cast. With the announcement of such a project, the comedian proves that his goal is not to end his career, quite the contrary!
