“It’s all a campaign speech”, castigated, Wednesday April 26, the boss of the CFE-CGC François Hommeril on franceinfo, a few moments after Elisabeth Borne presented her roadmap for the “hundred days of appeasement” and “actions”. Emmanuel Macron has given himself until the end of July to relaunch his five-year term.

“We are going to have this difficulty of going back, discussing, working and making proposals with people who have betrayed us and considered us badly”added François Hommeril, while the Prime Minister said she wanted to start “a peaceful and constructive dialogue” with the social partners and agree on a social agenda by 14 July.

“The government never questions itself”

“We will have to have pledges”underlined the president of the executives’ union, in order to “re-establish a climate of confidence”. “The government must prove to us that it is capable of questioning itself on the things it has done and which have been badly done”, he tackled.

“The government never questions itself, it feeds on words, it completes all the projects upstream and then it pretends to consult, it is no longer possible”, lamented François Hommeril. “Coming to a meeting to pose in the photo is one thing, and then contribute and participate” is another, warned the leader of the CFE-CGC.
