>> Disappearance of Delphine Jubillar: two years later, a trial without a confession, without a body, or a crime scene is looming

Certain passages of his hearing, of which “Special Envoy” was able to consult the minutes, highlight the conviction of Nadine Jubillar at that time. At the question “Do you think your son could be responsible for Delphine’s disappearance?”she responds, in tears: “It pains me to say it, but… yes.” The investigators make him repeat a sentence that weighs heavily in the charges accumulated against Cédric Jubillar: “She pisses me off, I’m going to kill her, bury her, and no one is going to find her.” A sentence as he could “say it often”, will react the interested party thereafter, and that he judges “mundane”.

“We write to each other from time to time”

In the hope that she manages to make him confess, the night following this hearing, the investigators confront Cédric Jubillar with his mother. Nadine begs her son, “for Elyah, for Louis [les enfants du couple Jubillar] for Delphine, for Delphine’s family, to tell the truth”. His answer : “I didn’t do anything, mom.” After this police custody, Cédric Jubillar was indicted pour “murder on spouse” and placed in pre-trial detention in the prison of Seysses, near Toulouse. He has been claiming his innocence for nearly two years. His lawyers’ requests for release were rejected.

Today, Nadine Jubillar comes out of silence in “Special Envoy”. “The only thing I want, is to know what happened”, says the one who from the beginning wanted “do everything to know the truth”, however painful. For more than a year, she had no contact with her son, she explains. “Because I simply forbade myself. And then we’ve been back for almost a year now. We write to each other from time to time.” The trial is expected to be held early next year.
