There will be no regional level matches this weekend in Alsace. The district of Alsace announced Friday, December 10 the postponement of the meetings scheduled for December 10, 11 and 12 in the region, due to weather conditions and the upsurge in covid-19 cases.
The future of meetings decided next week
Are affected by this postponement, all veterans, seniors and youth meetings planned outdoors (women’s and men’s competitions) scheduled for this weekend.
To justify its decision, the district evokes “the current weather conditions and the state of the land”, “very negative weather forecasts for the coming days” as well as “degraded health situation”.
It’s in Begining of the next week that the commissions “will decide on the future of the meetings at stake for the second phase”.
The district has also decided to cancel all animation futsal and Christmas futsal sets (U7 / U9 / U11 girls and boys) organized under its direction, until January 2, 2022 (end of school holidays).
