Worth $4.7 million, the framework contract also includes the possibility of two one-year renewals. Two service agreements worth $2.9 million have already been signed.

The Montreal company will therefore have to help the banking institution store its data, but also offer business analysis in order to develop advanced analytics.

“We have actively helped this client transition to digital systems, and the logical next step for them is to transform their applications to use all of their data in a cloud-based platform,” the statement said Thursday. Nigel Fonseca, Senior Vice President, Ontario and Western Canada, at Alithya.

“This Master Services Agreement facilitates Alithya’s ability to achieve results by leveraging its industry experience and technical expertise with the open and flexible Microsoft Azure cloud platform,” he added.

Alithya is already familiar with the system since its experts are already involved in Azure projects with another “Big 6” institution and utility companies.
