For the casting of his film “Un p’tit truc en plus”, in theaters on May 1, director Artus chose young actors with disabilities.

The very first feature film by comedian Artus, A little something extra, hits theaters on May 1st. The objective is to give a chance to young talents with disabilities to address the issue of difference. Actress Alice Belaïdi returned to this shoot like no other. “We met before filming, we did costume tests together. And it worked out very quickly despite their inexperience in front of the camera. We did previews and it was a hit. We are happy and moved”indicated the actress.

“We want to talk about them”

For this first film, Artus filmed with 15 disabled adults for whom it was necessary to adapt the filming and accommodate families or supervisors. “Some people thought that making a story about disabled people wouldn’t be of interest, they were wrong. We want to talk about them. That’s also why we make cinema”she added.
