The regional Miss elections have started all over France, but we will have to wait until December 2022 to find out who will succeed the sublime Diane Leyre. The election will be organized in the town of Châteauroux, in Indre… and this new edition promises many surprises. First on the list: a radical change in the historically very strict rules of the contest, which finally lets go of some ballast.
President of the Miss France company since 2021, Alexia Laroche-Joubert actually confirms that a breath of fresh air has been formalized internally. Will therefore now be accepted candidates with families, trans candidates, married women, tattoos, regardless of their size. The age limit has also been repealed. And all this seems strongly linked to the career of the producer, who oversees the show hand in hand with Sylvie Tellier, general manager of the company since 2007.

In 2003, Alexia Laroche-Joubert actually lost her first husband, Yan-Philippe Blanc, who died in a road accident on a motorcycle in the middle of the night in Paris. Widowed at such a young age, the former director of the star Academy had fortunately been able to count on the support of his mother Martine. “When my husband died, she was in Baghdad, she said.
