During the presentation of an interministerial action plan on Wednesday, the Minister of National Education spoke of “a tsunami of testimonies”, a sign of a freeing of speech around this scourge.
He evokes a “electroshock” of “liberation of speech”. The Minister of National Education, Gabriel Attal, announced Wednesday September 27 that testimonies of school harassment and “alerts coming from the field” had been “multiplied by three in recent weeks” compared to the start of the 2022 school year. “We are witnessing a tsunami of testimonies”he insisted, without giving further details on the figures he said he had obtained the day before.

On the occasion of the presentation of the government plan against harassment, the minister launched “a call to all young people”as well as their parents and teachers:
“Keep talking. Call. Write. Because to speak is already to resist.”

The government unveiled a host of measures on Tuesday. In particular, he decided to make 3018 the single help and reporting number, which will now be accompanied by an application. To date, two numbers coexist: 3020 for families and victims and 3018 specifically for cyberharassment.
