The day after the start of the fine particle pollution alert procedure, the Pyrénées-Atlantiques prefecture lifts the procedure this Wednesday. The concentration of Saharan desert dust and other particles from road traffic, agriculture and industries has dropped, as expected, thanks to the rain and the air which has become wetter. The measures put in place, such as the 20 km/h reduction in the maximum speed on the roadsare no longer in effect.
