Two former leaders of the Wildrose party, which merged with the Progressive Conservatives to form the United Conservative Party in 2017, have signaled their intention to run for leadership.
Brian Jean, who lost to Mr Kenney in the inaugural United Conservative Party leadership race and was an outspoken critic of Mr Kenney, thanked the Prime Minister for his “decent and honorable decision”.
