Albert of Monaco: His children Jacques and Gabriella amazed by Christmas, Charlene absent but the clan in reinforcement

The magic of Christmas has won over the whole world and, in Monaco, we put the small dishes in the big ones. Friday December 3, the princely family was seen at a beautiful event. Prince Albert, who has to deal with the very noticeable absence of his wife Charlene – at rest after having returned to the principality from South Africa – gave his children great pleasure.

Indeed, the sovereign went to the opening of the Christmas market. An outing in the company of Jacques and Gabriella, in heaven! The prince’s children, who will celebrate their 7th birthday on December 10, strolled between the candy stalls, the pretty vintage carousel and various rides, even being entitled to a ride in one of them, comfortably sitting in a basket shaped like a Christmas ball!

Both wore protective masks against the coronavirus – the Omicron variant poses a threat to the holiday season – despite their young age and the fact that the event was held outdoors. There is no doubt that the sovereign is keen on the good health of his heirs. Gabriella had boosted her enthusiasm for Christmas by wearing a headband in the shape of reindeer ears! We are curious to know what Santa’s reindeer will drop him off at the foot of the tree …

Prince Albert, who had several times to deny the insistent rumors around his couple with Charlene during his long African escapade, was also able to count on the members of his clan. At his side, we saw his sister Princess Caroline of Hanover, Pierre Casiraghi with his wife Béatrice Borromeo and their children Francesco and Stefano but also Roisin Wittstock – Charlene’s sister-in-law – and her children Kaia Rose and Bodie. There is no doubt that the Monegasques are eager to see Charlene again strolling in the streets of the principality as soon as her health allows it.
