Grenache, yes, but nothing to do with Grenache Noir (garnacha tinta in Spain). Rather garnacha tintorera, less nuanced certainly, but devilishly highly touted this one! The dress “vermilions” wonderfully and quickly invites you to bite here in a lively and fleshy fruitiness, with a hint of bitterness, but above all a nice sapidity. (5)
