Alain Krivine, figure of the far left, former presidential candidate, died this Saturday at the age of 80, his wife announced to AFP. Leader of Trotskyism in France, Alain Krivine was the leader, for three decades, of the Revolutionary Communist League (LCR) which he co-founded in 1974. He was one of the leaders of May 68 and presented himself in the presidential elections of 1969 and 1974.
