Known for his legendary status as a “jet-setter”, Massimo Gargia has long been a key figure in Parisian social evenings and summer evenings on the French Riviera. At 82, the famous Italian event organizer has just signed a new and rare interview with Jordan De Luxe this Monday, April 17, 2023.
The opportunity for the octogenarian to confide in his “little retirement” and to come back to the program which allowed him to gain fame in France: “La Ferme Celebrities”. We also note that Massimo Gargia had participated in this program in 2004 in order to be able to pay the medical expenses at home for his wife, Francine Crescent, the former editor-in-chief of Vogue with whom he has been married since 1991 and who is sadly died in 2008 in Paris from a rare form of Parkinson’s disease.
Alain Delon jealous of Massimo Gargia: this scene at the exit of a restaurant
Having become a real star when he left the game, the first edition of which was won by Pascal Olmeta, Massimo Gargia also engendered the jealousy of “The Farm completely changed my life. When I left the Farm, I had become a public figure whereas before I was only known in the jet-set world. One day I was with Alain Sarde, the famous producer who had bought the rights to my film and Alain Delon, we left the restaurant and an audience of young schoolchildren stopped in the street and they all shouted: ‘Massimo! Massimo!’ Alain Delon was pale and said to me: “But how… you only one TV show… It’s outrageous!”
