Excuse me but I am not the first to refer to this duet by Alain Delon with Dalida, recorded fifty-two years ago. And for weeks we have heard violent, cruel, pathetic words spouting out about the present life of an immense actor.
And so we quote a lot Words, words, because Alain Delon does not have, in song, such a profuse work from which we could draw with full force. No, he’s an actor. Not a singer. And we’ve known it for a long time.
