A small airliner rolled off the airstrip upon arrival at Mogadishu International Airport on Tuesday, according to state media.
Quoted by the Somali National News Agency, the Minister of Transport said that one person had been injured and that the other passengers had been evacuated safely.
Images shared on social media show the Halla Airlines plane, with a partially detached cockpit, resting next to a concrete wall.
Authorities do not yet know what caused the accident. The weather at the airport, located by the sea, was partly cloudy.
