air quality degraded for three days in Orléans and in the Loiret

The air quality is degraded in Orléans, and in one from Loiret, from this Tuesday and until Thursday, says Lig’Air, the body responsible for monitoring air quality in Center-Val de Loire.

In question: pollution with ozone, in the lower layers of the atmosphere, and with fine particles present in the air. This Tuesday, the air quality is considered “bad” in the southwest of the department, including Orléans. On Wednesday the air quality remains bad throughout the Loire diagonal. The situation is improving overall on Thursday, even if pollution remains high in the north-west and south-west of Loiret, including in Orléans.

This episode of pollution also affects our neighbors of Eure-et-Loir, Loir-et-Cher and Indre-et-Loire.
